My Lemonade Day is a free program offered by the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center. By participating in this program, we aim to teach the kids valuable life and business skills, emphasize the importance of earning, saving, spending, and sharing money wisely, and instill the confidence that comes from working to achieve their dreams. After creating their business plans and creating their companies, they will be led to participate in our Junior Market if they choose to do so! See more below for details!

NEW ADDITION – Junior Market!
The Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with our enthusiastic community of children, is transforming the parking lot between The Center and the City of Rockwall building. Instead of our traditional Lemonade Day, we are introducing the Junior Market, where children from the entire community can come together and showcase and sell the products, they are passionate about. Our aim is to have more than 200 stands where young entrepreneurs can run their businesses and offer their unique, homemade creations. This new event allows students to apply the skills they’ve acquired through the Lemonade Day program’s educational curriculum. It not only provides them with an opportunity to promote and launch their own businesses but also educates them on the entire process, from inception to completion. We are eagerly looking forward to witnessing the creative endeavors of these young participants!

Over $10,000 in revenue was generated throughout the 197 stands, and over half of the proceeds were donated back to the community!

“New Kid on the Block”
Rockwall is proud to announce that after our very first year of participating in Lemonade Day, we earned the “New Kid on the Block” award for going above and beyond our goals as a community!
Zak Clark, a 13-year-old who moved from Washington to Rockwall, TX in 2022, discovered and participated in Rockwall’s local Lemonade Day after being inspired by his friends in Washington. In 2023, Zak won Entrepreneur of the Year for Lemonade Day in Rockwall with his stand, Lemonology. His unique approach involved a ‘Scientific Lemonade Experience’ using beakers, edible glitter, and fruit boba, accompanied by scientific facts about lemons. Zak’s success earned him the title of 2023 National Entrepreneur of the Year 1st Runner-Up for Lemonade Day. Outside of entrepreneurship, Zak enjoys spending time with his mom and dog, improving his Rubik’s Cube skills, and playing video games. Zak attends Pioneer Technology Academy of Arts, where he favors Math and Science. He remains dedicated to his community, giving back to the Lemonade Day program and those who supported his entrepreneurial journey.
