Stephen Straughan
Straughan Properties
We have been fortunate to have had Stephen as an active member of the Chamber for over 15 years, as he is a compelling community leader. In 2001, he was elected Commodore of Chandlers Landing Yacht and Tennis Club. He is active in the Rockwall Breakfast Rotary Club (President 03-04), as well as, Rotary District 5810. In his time with District 5810, he has fulfilled numerous offices including, but not limited to: Assistant Governor, Aide to the District Governor, and is currently serving as Club Support Director. Stephen served on the Rockwall City Council from 2004 - 2008. Aside from his career and proven dedication to his community, Mr. Straughan has recently been named the President of the Boys and Girls of Rockwall County Board.
Stephen has been an active Texas Realtor since 1975, Broker in 1985 and became a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser in 1991. With over 30 years of Real Estate sales, leasing and appraising, Stephen is considered an expert in this field.
